Juan currently works as Business Manager of the European Anti-Cybercrime Technology Development Association (EACTDA). Prior to that, Juan worked as Programme Manager at Vicomtech, a research technology organisation, and previously as Project Management Office's manager at Thomson Reuters Aranzadi, a company providing valuable and actionable information to legal professionals. At the beginning of his career, Juan also worked as an IT consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Juan holds a PhD in Project Management from the Public University of Navarre (Spain) and a MSc in Computer Science from Deusto University (Spain).
Ioannis Meletiadis is a Diploma Electrical Engineer from AUTH university of Thessaloniki, with a further Professional Doctorate in Engineering Degree from Eindhoven Technical University TUE. He has been working for more than 12 years with ZARIFOPOULOS S.A., initially as a Project Manager in the design and application of low voltage application systems, focused on Fire Protection, Intrusion Security, CCTV and Access Control. Since 2019 he holds the position of Technical Supervisor for Northern Greece, with area of responsibility including Thessaloniki, Xanthi and Larissa, while he has actively been engaged in continuous market research for new latest technology solutions in all areas of activity of ZARIFOPOULOS S.A.
He has successfully completed a large number of trainings from manufacturers of security and fire protection systems, both in Greece and abroad, regarding the design and installation of intrusion detection, CCTV, fire detection, fire extinguishing, public address and voice alarm, as well as other low voltage systems.
He is knowledgeable in the design of security and fire protection systems according to European standards. He has participated in the design and realization of large projects with special technical requirements. Indicatively: Gas Compressor Station in N. Messimvria, Power Plants in Greece as well as in Syria, Algeria, Jordan, Ghana, UK, infrastructure projects such as road tunnels, sea ports, Thessaloniki METRO (ongoing), IGB gas pipeline (ongoing), oil storage facilities, food production units, hotels, hospitals, etc.
Andrej is an expert in corporate security with a demonstrated history of working and different skills. He has more than 15-years of working experience in the field of private and corporate security, with skills in the area of protection of people, property, organisations, information security, internal investigations, management of business continuity system, etc.
Andrej regularly builds on his professional experience by participating in professional conferences, by publishing various professional papers and by exchanging experiences as a member of the Slovenian Corporate Security Association. In 2020, he received the professional award for the best corporate security manager of the year, which is awarded by the professional public under the auspices of the Institute for Corporate Security Studies.
Patrick Padding is a sworn police officer of the National Police of the Netherlands Central Unit, Commissionaires Staff.
He is the Core group leader of the ENLETS network since 2013, bringing member states law enforcement together to share their interest in front-line policing, crime and Public protection.
He has been the project coordinator in various EU-funded projects, among others the H2020 i-LEAD project, the ISF projects ProTect and QROC as well as the projects that resorts under ENLETS.
He holds an extensive operational background in leading police units as well he has been advising the European Commission in various ways and occasions.
