On the 14th and 15th June, APPRAISE partners met at BTC City in Ljubljana to discuss and present the third use case pilot of the project. Slovenian project partners BTC City and ICS Ljubljana organised the event with the support of the Police and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Slovenia.
The purpose of the meeting was for APPRAISE partners to become acquainted with the details and planned project activities for Pilot 3, which will take place at the BTC City premises in Ljubljana. The technical partners presented their innovative solutions, that are specifically aimed at ensuring increased security of the so-called "soft targets", which have been the target of terrorist attacks in recent times. As part of the presentations, the participants of the meeting were given the opportunity to visit Atlantis water city, a large water park based in the centre of Ljubljana where the hosts presented the engine room and technological systems of the water park, with an emphasis on possible micro-locations for the pilot.
